Lipomyces anomalus sp. nov.

I P Babjeva, S E Gorin.

Abstract

A description of a new yeast species from soil - Lipomyces anomalus - is given. It differs from all the accepted Lipomyces spp. by the formation of abundant pseudomycelium, absence of capsules, the assimilation properties, and its habitat: the north taiga subzone.
