Scabies in some workers living in crowded area, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Abstract

Little is known about human and animal scabies in Jeddah. The present study gives a picture of human scabies. Over four months, 18 cases have been microscopically diagnosed. The most common infested site was the abdomen, followed by the lower and upper limbs. Infestation in other parts of the body was not common but also recorded. The results were discussed on the light of other works done in the region.
