Abstract
Compensatory enlargement occurred in 71% of lesions in patients with acute myocardial infarction and was more common in these patients than in patients with stable effort angina pectoris. These results suggest that compensatory enlargement may be associated with plaque rupture and subsequent acute myocardial infarction.Entities:
