The Radial Approach to Selective Carotid Artery Angiogram.

Selective carotid artery angiography via either radial artery was performed in 12 patients, mostly in combination with other diagnostic procedures. No failures to cannulate either the radial or carotid arteries were encountered. Extra-cranial angiography through a radial approach is safe, feasible and comparable to other accepted ports of entry.
