Abstract
A five-month-old infant presented with a sudden choking cough and mild dyspnea. Bilateral cystic pulmonary images were found on a chest X-ray, leading to exploratory surgery. A pleuropulmonary blastoma, a rare malignant embryonic tumor of childhood, was diagnosed on histologic examination. This case illustrates the necessity of performing surgical resection and histologic evaluation of any pulmonary cystic malformations, particularly when bilateral.Entities:
