Abstract
Gastrointestinal manifestations of hypothyroidism are unfrequent. They consist particularly in hypomotility, intestinal atony, and pseudoobstruction. A high index of suspicion must exist, especially in elder subjects, in order to avoid unnecessary and even harmful investigation and intervention. We are reporting two cases of intestinal occlusion due to hypothyroidism with review of the literature.Entities:
