Gastric Bypass Distal Roux-en-Y with Jejunal Interposition.

.

Abstract

Gastric bypass with jejunal interposition is a version of the distal Roux-en-Y. Ninety cm of the jejunum is interposed between the gastric stoma and the ileum. This new procedure initially was used in super-obese patients mainly to facilitate the gastric anastomosis.
