Laparoscopic Gastric Banding: a preliminary report.

Abstract

The authors describe a technique of laparoscopically applying a Molina-type band to the stomach. This is the first report we are aware of, of the successful application of a band for the treatment of morbid obesity. This technique should be reproducible in suitable subjects
