[Chemical constituents of Pedicularis muscicola Maxim].

From an ethanolic extract of whole plants of Pedicularis muscicola four glycosidic compounds were isolated. On the basis of chemical and spectal methods, their structurdes were determined to be one lignan glycosied and three iridoid glycosides: syringaresinol-4"-O-beta-D-glucoside (1), sesamoside (2), phloyoside II (3) and caryoptoside (4). All the four compounds were isolated from P. muscicola for the first time, and the compounds 2 and 3 were obtained for the first time from Pedicularis genus.
