Abstract
Totally implantable venous device (TIVD) are widely used for the treatment of patients requiring long-term chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition and fluid replacement. Until today, many kinds of complications have been reported in the literature. We report an unusual case of catheter fracture as a consequence of pinchoff syndrome, and discuss the potential methods to avoid this complication and its evolution.Entities:
