Antimicrobial properties of Thonningia sanguinea root extracts.

Abstract

The aqueous and methanolic extracts of Thonningia sanguinea root, as well as seven fractions obtained by PTLC from the methanol extract, have been shown to possess varying degrees of antimicrobial activity.
