Abstract
We report a case of primary tuberculosis of the posterior oropharyngeal wall presenting with sore throat, fever and malaise. Pharyngeal tuberculosis is rare and usually occurs with primary pulmonary disease. Primary disease has been reported in small numbers in the nasopharynx and palatine tonsil but never before, to our knowledge, in the posterior oropharyngeal wall.Entities:
