Abstract
Our objective in this article is to update dermatologists on the clinical management of malignant melanoma, including the role of sentinel node biopsy and options for the treatment of stage III and stage IV disease. The role of the dermatologist throughout the continuum of care is emphasized, and the essential partnership with medical oncology in recognizing promising new options for patients with advanced disease is examined.Entities:
