Abstract
Cellular contacts with the extracellular matrix are regulated by the Rho family of GTPases through their effects on both the actin and the microtubule cytoarchitecture. Recent genetic, biochemical and structural data have highlighted the role played by a subset of actin-binding proteins in coupling integrins to cytoskeletal actin and in assembling signalling complexes that are important for cell motility and cell proliferation.Mesh:
