Abstract
Deep soft tissue leiomyomas are extremely rare benign tumors in childhood. An unusual case of benign calcified leiomyoma of the pterygoid muscle in an 8-year old boy is presented. Clinical manifestations and radiographic and histologicpathologic findings, as well as the differential diagnosis and possible histogenesis of this rare tumor, are discussed.Entities:
