Superior labrum, anterior and posterior lesions. When and how to treat them.

G M Gartsman1, S M Hammerman.

Abstract

The treatment of patients with SLAP lesions requires an understanding of the normal and abnormal anatomy of the superior labrum. SLAP lesions have a role in rotator cuff disease and glenohumeral instability. Operative repair with suture anchors has been detailed.
