Abstract

Aortic laceration secondary to Palmaz Stent placement for treatment of superior vena cava syndrome is reported. This potentially life-threatening complication should be considered when rigid balloon expandable stents are used to treat superior vena cava syndrome of benign origin. Cathet. Cardiovasc.
