Abstract
Hepatic and bile duct involvement are common in sickle cell disease. This article reports the case of a young woman with cholangiopathy, homozygous sickle cell disease, and protracted anemia. We suggest that sickle cell disease was directly responsible for ischemic cholangiopathy through anoxia.Entities:
