Abstract
The Sixth Report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC VI) provided guidelines for the treatment of hypertension. This study examined the adherence to the JNC VI guidelines by a retrospective chart review of patients treated for hypertension in the internal medicine house staff practice at a university teaching hospital in the year after publication of the JNC VI.Entities:
