A study of decompression sickness after commercial air diving in the Northern Arabian Gulf: 1993-95.

J Luby1.

Abstract

Over 50,000 commercial air dives carried out in the Northern Arabian Gulf over a three-year period were analyzed to identify risk factors for decompression sickness. Dive depth and bottom time were found to be the only significant factors and occurrence rates were comparable to those found in the 1980s in the North Sea.
