Using electromyographic biofeedback in treating orofacial dyskinesia.

W B Farrar.

Abstract

Electromyographic biofeedback can be used to help patients learn to control muscle contractions resulting from orofacial dyskinesia. The size of the electronic equipment and the simplicity of its use make this form of therapy practical for use by patients. The technique for treatment was described.
