Combating the illegal practice of dentistry.

Abstract

(1) Problems concerning the illegal practice of dentistry are increasing. (2) The Canadian experience has had an effect (3) In recent years, nearly one third of our states have experienced some threat by illegal dentistry. (4) Economics is a major factor. (5) Responsibility for a successful program must be continuous from all levels - national, state, and local. (6) For a program to be successful, it must reach the dentist at the grass-roots level. (7) This in an area where the FPO can show real leadership.
