Abstract
The pathogenesis and treatment of quinine-induced thrombocytopenia is discussed. The case presented involved the sequelae of a dental extraction performed during an episode of acute thrombocytopenia. A complete medical history and knowledge of current medications and their possible side effects are of paramount importance before any patient is treated.Entities:
