Abstract
The effect of protein-energy malnutrition on the growth of molar and incisor tooth germs was studied. Significant differences were found between control and malnourished groups in the weights and calcium contents of both tooth germs. The data point to the importance of the effect of nutrient deficiency on the critical growth period of an oral structure.Entities:
