Abstract
The development of glomerulonephritis as a complication of neonatal lupus or congenital toxoplasmosis is extremely rare. We report a case of membranous glomerulonephritis occurring in a neonate with toxoplasmosis and atypical congenital lupus, including high-titer antinuclear antibodies and hypocomplementemia. This case illustrates that glomerulonephritis in the neonate may be induced by passively transferred maternal antibodies.Entities:
