Abstract
It was found that patients with angina of effort (functional class II and III) exhibit enhanced generation of active oxygen forms by leukocytes, higher concentration of malonic dialdehyde in plasma and lower antiperoxide resistance of plasma. These changes increase with increasing severity of the disease. Adjuvant use of coenzyme Q10 in combined antianginal therapy suppresses generation of active oxygen forms by leukocytes, lipid peroxidation. Antiperoxide plasma resistance rises. In this way clinical improvement of effort angina is achieved.Entities:
