Abstract

A case of multiple neurilemmoma at the sciatic nerve is presented. A 79 years old male reported as initial symptom the appearance of a mass at the popliteal fossa without any neurological impairment. The MRI showed numerous tumors along the that were no previously detected. The tumor was easy to remove without affecting the nerve. No neurologic alteration occurred at the postoperative period which confirms the good prognosis of this tumor.
