Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the short-term safety and efficacy of the STARFlex Occluder for transcatheter closure of atrial septal defects with difficult anatomy. Transcatheter closure of the defect was attempted and successfully performed in 5 patients; the "stretched" defect diameter ranged from 12 to 24 mm and the implanted devices ranged from 23 to 33 mm.Entities:
