Abstract
A study was undertaken to compare four current awareness services: CurrentContents/OVID, Reference Update/OVID, CARL Uncover, and FirstSearch (ContentsFirst and ArticlesFirst). The features and performances of each are evaluated. Three factors determined to be important are ease of use, health sciences coverage, and journal currency.
