Abstract
The authors report a case of extensive osseous metastases from a clinically occult papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland without evidence of regional lymph node metastases. Some features of the primary tumour, namely focal "tall-cell" morphology and higher nuclear grade, raise the possibility of including such a tumour into the poorly differentiated category of thyroid carcinomas. Literature review only disclosed one similar reported case.Entities:
