Abstract
Imaging continues to play an important role in the evaluation and management of patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors. This article provides a generalized framework for evaluating brain tumors in adult patients. The goals of brain tumor imaging, the advantages of CT and MR imaging, and factors which help refine the differential diagnosis are discussed. The imaging appearance of some of the more common tumors is also discussed.Entities:
