Abstract
The current WHO classification greatly advances the ability to predict patient prognosis from pathologic diagnosis by introducing new tumor categories. This improved pathologic stratification is reflected in more accurate interpretations of diagnostic imaging studies. Pathology and oncology have progressed from a gross beginning, through microscopy and special stains, and into the realm of molecular biology and tumor genetics.Entities:
