[Unusual complications of a bilateral peritonsillar abscess].

Abstract

Bilateral peritonsillar abscesses with complications in the region of the neck are extremely rare. The case of a 60 year old women with an additional abscess of the right parotid gland/neck is reported. Diagnostic and therapeutic problems are discussed.
