Abstract
Osteoporosis is a major health problem affecting the quality of life. The Osteoporosis Quality of Life Questionnaire (OQLQ) is a disease-specific measure intended for use in English-speaking countries. As there is a need for measures in non English-speaking countries as well, we translated the OQLQ according to a standardised protocol into the German language. Twenty-five women suffering from osteoporosis were tested in regard of quality of life. The questionnaire appears to be especially suitable for more disabled patients.Entities:
