Abstract
We describe an enzyme immunoassay with use of beta-D-galactosidase for quantitation of ferritin in human serum. The minimum detectable ferritin concentration is 0.25 microgram/L of serum, which is comparable to results obtained by radioimmunoassay. The correlation coefficient between values determined by enzyme immunoassay and radioimmunoassay was 0.95 (n - 1 = 85, p less than 0.001).Entities:
