Abstract

The authors inform about the immunomodulatory properties of the vaccine URVAKOL aimed for the treatment of recidiving urinary infections. The results of immunostimulatory activity of the preparation and its effects on cellular and humoral immunity in mice following intraperitoneal administration of the vaccine are presented. The vaccine markedly increases cytotoxic activity of adhering peritoneal cells and has protective effects in model infection induced by intracellular pathogen Francisella tularensis (strain 15 L).
