Abstract
Screening for cervical cancer with the Papanicolaou cervical smear has resulted in a decline in incidence and mortality from cervical cancer. Targeting the unscreened population is the next challenge to reduce the incidence of this disease further. Currently, there are no available screening modalities for endometrial or ovarian cancer. Breakthroughs in molecular genetics may result in screening tests for ovarian cancer.Entities:
