Abstract
A surgical concept that includes a total thyroidectomy of the dominant side of thyroid enlargement with dissection of the laryngeal recurrent nerve and parathyroid glands ascertains low morbidity and neglectible mortality after thyroid surgery. Recurrent laryngeal nerve pareses are thus mostly transient so are hypcalcemias.Entities:
