Abstract

Mouse embryos and human sperm are used as quality control bioassays in human in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratories. These two models can reveal the cytotoxicty of items commonly used in IVF, such as surgical gloves. The literature published in this area points to the cytotoxicity of both glove powders and glove products. Copyright 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
