Abstract
The platysma myocutaneous flap is an infrequently used flap in head and neck reconstruction. This flap should be considered for reconstruction of small and medium-sized defects of the oral cavity. We present two cases demonstrating the utility of this local flap in reconstruction. Advantages, contraindications and limitations of the platysma myocutaneous flap are discussed.Entities:
