Voiding dysfunction in women with diabetes mellitus.

H B Goldman1, R A Appell.

Abstract

Voiding dysfunction is a common finding in women with diabetes mellitus. A full spectrum of bladder dysfunction, from areflexia to detrusor instability, can result. Urodynamics is frequently required to identify the specific disorder. Current concepts regarding the evaluation and treatment of these patients are reviewed.
