Office-based Adolescent Health Care: Issues and Solutions.

Because the field of adolescent medicine is relatively young, guidelines for care are still in need of definition. This chapter provides an overview of the issues related to the provision of health care to adolescents, including training of physicians, considerations in establishing an office-based practice, consent and confidentiality, and health care reimbursement.
