Abstract
Skillfully interviewing, assessing, and counseling a troubled adolescent must be based on a method of understanding the origins of problem behaviors. The authors describe the HEADS model of assessment and intervention used in the High-risk Youth Programs at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles and present recommendations for effective counseling for these patients.Entities:
