Abstract
Hydatid cysts in the cervicofacial region are rare. We present an unusual case of a hydatid cyst found in the nape of a 66-year-old Turkish woman. There was no pulmonary or hepatic involvement. Excision of the cystic mass as definitive therapy was performed. The location of the lesion, diagnostic tests available and therapeutic approach are discussed and the literature reviewed.Entities:
