Abstract
Thrombophilic anticardiolipin antibodies (ACLAs) are independent risk factors for atherosclerotic vascular disease. We suggest that ACLAs IgG and IgM be routinely measured as ancillary atherothrombotic risk factors in all patients with atherosclerotic vascular disease events, in those at high risk for atherosclerotic vascular disease, and in those in whom thrombosis is a major pathoetiology.Entities:
