Management of nurse's aides in long-term care settings.

J T Reagan.

Abstract

Personnel management is critical to long-term care. Each administrator must review the personnel management system in his or her facility to ensure that all nurse's aides on staff have the training, skill, and time required to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. A conscious effort must be made to adopt practices that will help solve and prevent the problems unique to long-term care facilities.
