Surveying the public's attitudes on AIDS.

J A Boscarino.

Abstract

In a survey of southern New Jersey residents, the author found that the general public, in particular those who were less educated and older, showed considerable fear and concern about AIDS. The author contends that as hospitals in the surveyed area begin to experience their projected increase in AIDS patients, they will have to deal constructively with these attitudes.
