Abstract
Maintenance of patient satisfaction is essential to the success of health maintenance organizations (HMOs). In the authors' study, patient satisfaction in an HMO was predicted significantly by four variables: level of patient-physician continuity, self-assessed health, patient view of preventive health practices, and view of provider communicative appropriateness.Entities:
