Abstract
Training in breast self-examination (BSE) using the Florida silicone models was evaluated in three training conditions: small group with feedback on individual performance, small group without feedback, and individual with feedback. Assessments on models and breasts indicated no significant differences between conditions in the quality of examinations (eg, lumps detected, area covered). Support is given to the dissemination of BSE training technology in a group format.Entities:
