Abstract
Quantitative estimation - based on extrapolated data of radioactivity and reasonable assumptions about the radiolytic effect of beta-particles on amino acids- shows that an assymmetry greater than the statistical fluctuation in the number of L-, and D-amino acid molecules could have been produced by beta-decay during chemical evolution.Mesh:
